If you hit the outdoors across Montana often, you have probably come across an area that you wanted to explore, but didn't know if it was private or public property. Did you know there was an app for that?
The Montana Cadastral application can answer that question for you, while you are there looking at the pristine countryside. And it now has an all-new look and interface to make things even easier to find information on.

New Cadastral Map Application Released by Montana State Library
In early April, the Montana State Library released an all-new version of the cadastral map application available for the public. The latest application is "mobile device friendly with improved performance for phone and tablet access. The upgraded print feature creates an improved PDF report of the property information."

Map performance has also been enhanced. Users will now be able to zoom in on property. But also allows views of counties, townships, select neighborhoods and more. Basemap Gallery has been upgraded for topographical, terrain, or aerial imagery by odd year going back to 2005.
Montana State Library Encourages Users to Give Feedback on New App
The Montana Cadastral application is offered through the Montana State Library and the Montana Department of Revenue to make Montana’s property information easily accessible to all.
