As a golfer, I am constantly applying bug spray before, during and even sometimes after a round.  Most of us probably have a can of Deep Woods Off somewhere rolling around under the seat in the car right now, or at least an easily accessible can for the summer activities.

But besides bug spray, there are more subtle ways to keep the buzzing subsided and the stings a little less probable.  Cologne and perfume are big attractants, but things like hair products, jewelry and more can also lead to making you a target for a stinger.
