As a younger man living and working in Great Falls, I never considered what our city would like in 20 or 30 years.  I always thought the mall would be the collective point for everything and places like Hastings Music and Video would never be just a distant memory.

Times certainly have changed since then, and to think that what we see today will be here tomorrow or years from now is trying to live through rose-colored glasses.  And as such, I realize that I will never be able to buy a roll of quarters to blast invaders from space at the Fusebox.  Ever.

How To Review the New Great Falls Growth Policy

Beginning in January 2025, the City of Great Falls asked residents to submit opinions, ideas, and for their input on infrastructure, development, and even city policies.  After public comments for nearly a year, the initial draft of the policy is ready for presentation.

Interested Great Falls residents will have 3 opportunities to view the new draft of the Growth Policy for 2025-2045 and ask questions or share thoughts on the new vision for the city.  The City of Great Falls will be hosting those at the Gibson Room located in the Civic Center at 2 Park Dr. S.

Afternoon and Evening Public Viewings Available for Great Falls Residents

The City of Great Falls Growth Policy Draft Public viewings will be held on the following dates at the Civic Center:

• Monday, January 12th 11:30 - 1:30
• Wednesday January 14th 5:30 - 7:30
• Thursday January 15th 5:30 - 7:30
