- The event will feature traditional dancing and drumming plus an elder feed
Amazing Traditional Powwow Dance Coming to GFPS In May
Native American heritage within the state of Montana runs extremely deep. Immersing yourself into the history of the native peoples will reveal a colorful and traditional sacred event.
Residents in Central Montana will be able to take in a traditional powwow coming to Great Falls Public Schools this month. It's time to celebrate the Great Falls Community Powwow.

GFPS Charles M. Russell School to Host Community Powwow Event
The event is coming to Great Falls on May 17th, 2025, at the C.M. Russell Gymnasium. All dancers are encouraged and welcome to come to the Great Falls Community Powwow. Registration for the day will begin at 8:30am.

Grand entry will begin at 10am. All 2025 American Indian collegiate and high school graduates are invited to participate in the grand entry. An elder feed will also be part of the powwow beginning at 12:30pm.
