Here’s What You Need To Know About Stamp Prices In Montana

As market volatility continues and inflation is fresh on everybody's minds, a recent announcement from the United States Postal Service has left consumers flinching.

Over the last few years, it seems like every other week the Postal Service has been jacking up the price of a stamp, and that trend is expected to continue.

Ready or not, but the price of a stamp is expected to go up this summer!

If you feel like stamps just recently went up in price, you're right!

The last price hike from the United States Postal Service was in July of 2024 when they went from $.68 to $.73.

The five-cent price hike doesn't seem overly concerning, except for the fact that the price of a stamp has continually gone up year over a year with little to no end in sight.

Now don't give me wrong; I totally understand that the cost of everything is going up and I can only imagine how costly it is to deliver letters and packages throughout the world.

But these small price hikes do add up!

Postage Price Increase

According to the recent announcement from the United States, Postal Service, the price of a stamp is set to increase additional five cents this July.

The new price hike will officially go into effect on July 13th, 2025.

I'm a bit old-school in terms of mail, I much prefer to write out checks and mail them versus online payments.

And over the holidays, I think there's still something cool about sending out cards.

But with the price continuing to climb, it might cause us to rethink traditional postage.
