Dr. Fauci Grilled Over Controversial Montana Lab Research

Lots of people are talking about the Senate Covid hearing with Dr. Anthony Fauci and how he (now infamously) invoked the Fifth Amendment over 100 times.

While that in itself is a story, there's one specific Montana story that stood out to me and it was honestly one of the more shocking things I've heard about.

Fauci's Connection to a Montana Lab

During the hearing yesterday, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst used her time to grill Dr. Fauci about his affiliation with research campuses operating under the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

According to his bio for the NIAID website, Fauci served as NIAID Director from 1984 to 2022.

At 2:09:17 in the video below, Sen. Ernst brings up one of the most disturbing aspects of research that took place under Fauci's watch.

"Under your NIAID Coronavirus, researchers also used aborted baby parts in mice research and taxpayers paid for them to do that," Sen. Ernst said, "NIH funded coronavirus researcher Dr. Ralph Baric and his colleagues at UNC put parts of livers, thymuses, and chunks of human fetal lung that they got from aborted, almost 5-month old human babies."

"They put those parts in their research mice. They disgustingly named them 'BLT L-mice' and wrote they had created a 'sandwich of aborted body parts' in the mice. Get it, folks? BLT. A BLT sandwich."

Then Sen. Ernst brings Montana into the fold.

"Your RML lab employees in Montana also ordered and used aborted baby body parts in their taxpayer funded research and emails show how they plan to use those mice for post-covid work," Sen. Ernst said, "NIH funded puting aborted babies' fingers and scalps off the heads of aborted babies and putting them into the backs of research mice."

"The scalps later grew fine baby hair in the mice, they even included those disgusting photos in their research paper that you funded. Thankfully, the current NIH Director has said: 'No more of this.'"

Montana: The Birthplace of the Pandemic?

Senator Ernst had previously spoken up about the RML lab, citing concerns about the lab infecting bats with coronavirus according to a press release from her team back in November 2023.

According to an October 2023 report from the Daily Mail:

"The National Institutes of Health (NIH), under Dr Anthony Fauci's leadership, infected 12 Egyptian fruit bats with a 'SARS-like' virus called WIV1 at a lab in Montana in 2018. The WIV1-coronavirus was shipped from the Wuhan lab the FBI believes caused the Covid pandemic and was tested on bats acquired from a 'roadside' Maryland zoo."

It doesn't sound like anyone else is conducting research using limbs from aborted fetuses anymore but honestly, who knows... really? Who is to say we won't learn about something else going on under our noses that as equally as shocking or worse in another 5 years?
