Time Is Running Out For Great Falls Rescue Mission’s Food Supply

Believe it or not, the holidays are right around the corner and before we know it, it'll be the most wonderful time of the year. For many, this means getting together with friends and family to enjoy good food and company.

And unfortunately, there will also be many out there looking for their next meal.

Great Falls Rescue Mission Needs Our Help

The clock is ticking and the harsh winter temps will be here before we know it. It's also getting close to the time of year where money can become tight for families in Great Falls.

And, if we're not proactive, it can also become the time of year when resources can become tight for the Great Falls Rescue Mission.

"WE NEED YOUR HELP!" Great Falls Rescue Mission shared in a post to social media on Monday, "We are running a little low on some items in our refrigerator and pantry."

"We provide 3 hot meals per day in all three shelters for more than 200 people daily, including the public. Our local businesses are amazing and support us with food donations on a weekly basis."

Great Falls Rescue Mission's Impact On The Community

Great Falls Rescue Mission has been a beacon of hope in our community since 1963 and is led by Executive Director Jim McCormick.

"GFRM continues to provide a safe and healing environment for those in need of a place to stay, grow and transform," McCormick says on the GFRM site.

"We live in an amazingly supportive community and see daily donations in the way of food, clothing, financial gifts, etc. Whenever I get a little discouraged, all I do is look in the freezer. I am reminded and know in my heart that our Lord and Savior is in control and furthering His Kingdom."
