In a post recently shared by Great Falls Public Schools, it was announced that they're looking to fill a small but extremely important position.

"Our students need you! Apply today to be a Crossing Guard on GFPS website," the post says.

According to the job description for crossing guard:

Great Falls Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for a number of Crossing Guard openings. If you are excited about working with kids, devoted to safety and want to work for a great employer on a part-time basis please complete the on-line application.

The job calls for two one hour shifts in a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

According to the job description, the morning shift will be 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM while afternoon shift will look slightly different. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday you'll work 3 PM to 4 PM and Wednesdays, you'll work 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

How Much Does A School Crossing Guard Make?

According to the job description, this particular position pays $15.14 per hour or about $30.28 per day.
