Can We Stop Criticizing Montana Truck Drivers For This?
Look, I get it. People get "triggered" or upset by different things and everyone has their own personal reasons for having emotional reactions to what they experience.
And I understand why someone would be upset with something if it legitimately ruins their career or affects their family or ability to, you know, live their life... but outside of that? Let's calm down a bit.
Great Falls Bad Drivers/Parking: A Facebook Group For "Venting"
If you've lived in Great Falls and been a part of Facebook for some time, there's a good chance you're familiar with the Facebook group "GREAT FALLS BAD DRIVERS/PARKING."
If you're not, it's a group for disgruntled drivers to share or vent their frustrations with (what's supposed to be) legit traffic complaints. However, as you might expect, there are several questionable posts that might leave you scratching your head.

For example, the constant posts from people criticizing how commercial truck drivers park, in particular, parking across multiple parking lanes to get some rest overnight.
"7 SPOTS! 7!!!!! I bet this guy had an ankle monitor on at some point of his life," a recent poster shared in the group.
The photo in the post shows an 18-wheeler truck with a trailer attached parked across multiple lanes.
It's Time To Give Our Truck Drivers A Break
As you might expect, people didn't hold back on going in on the guy for what clearly sounds like a "trolling post."
"He’s driving a truck, with a trailer. I see them park like that all the time," the top comment reads.
"There’s really no other parking option and he’s basically at the end of the parking lot, not hurting anyone. So I don’t understand what the issue is here? Seems to me you just wanted a reason to be b****y."

I couldn't have said it any better. Our truck drivers put some serious hours into their job, sacrificing time away from family and friends, missing holidays, important events, and of course, transport the goods and resources we need to thrive as a country.
We can give them a little bit of a break, can't we? Especially if the driver is just parking to rest or grab a snack?
There are worse things people can be doing and I assure you an 18-wheeler taking multiple spaces in a parking lot at night isn't the worst of it all.
