It's no surprise how important his home state is to Tim Montana.  You need not look further than his very name.  Montana is in his music, his image, and his business ventures.  If you want to see what Tim Montana means to his home state, you need look no further than the Montana Department of Commerce's Governor's Conference on Tourism where Tim just took home an incredible but very justified award, The Excellence in Cinema and Cultural Heritage Award.

What is the Excellence in Cinema and Cultural Heritage Award?

"The Excellence in Cinema and Cultural Heritage award is a prestigious recognition bestowed upon individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and film industry while also promoting and preserving cultural heritage.  This award celebrates those who skillfully blend cinematic artistry with cultural narratives, bringing stories, languages and traditions to a broader audience."

This fits Tim Montana to a tee.  The last couple of years have seen Tim release his first rock album which has led to not only critical and fan acclaim but has taken Tim all across North America not only performing but promoting the Treasure State in shows and interviews.  Tim has rebranded and re-opened the Wise River Club, where he often performs, transforming a sleepy roadhouse into a musical and dining destination with a distinct Montana flair.  But this is nothing new to Tim.  His first single was titled "Butte, America", which has become a Mining City anthem.  In the years since, he has included many hometown friends and natives in his music videos, like this early one.

Or even this more recent one.

Congratulations, Tim.  We can't wait to see what you do next.
